My challenge here was to find that point of contrast within the 2 large ellipses of the circle and balance that by projecting through the picture plane with the apex of the smallest triangle. Finding "vertical" tension at the tip of the "cone" (at the conjunction of the purple, pale yellow and lime green triangle) as it stretches outward toward the viewer was my objective.
