In the process of simplifying the original drawing it became evident there was a dynamic moment in this composition created by the shapes remaining. The objective was to highlight the tension lower left of center to emphasize the "boomerang effect" of the red ball pushing against the yellow arc while simultaneously pushing outward toward the upper right by the contrast of the purple inside the green triangle. A subtle yellow corner on the underlying pyramid provided just enough directing to visually pull on the red sphere.
